Restructuring and Trade Union Rights: Parmalat Workers' Bulletin No. 07-2004

The restructuring plan is out and awaiting the crucial approval of the creditors. The Extraordinary Administration is on a mission to convince that group of decision-makers that the plan is viable, that the company is worth saving, that the offer on the table is the best possible.
Now that a way out of the crisis is beginning to present itself, the new administration must commit to negotiating solutions for all workers affected by the plan, regardless of whether they will be part of the "new" Parmalat or not.
