FAWU Begins Industrial Actions at Nestl� South Africa

The Food & Allied Workers' Union of South Africa is launching a series of protected industrial actions (overtime ban, work to rule, demonstrations, etc.) to support its demands in national CBA negotiations with Nestl� South Africa.
Difficult bargaining has reduced the range of open issues, but a gap remains between the union's wage proposal and that being offered by the company.
If a settlement is not reached, the union may undertake work stoppages.
