FAWU Begins Industrial Actions at Nestlé South Africa

The Food & Allied Workers' Union of South Africa is launching a series of protected industrial actions (overtime ban, work to rule, demonstrations, etc.) to support its demands in national CBA negotiations with Nestlé South Africa.
Difficult bargaining has reduced the range of open issues, but a gap remains between the union's wage proposal and that being offered by the company.
If a settlement is not reached, the union may undertake work stoppages.
